Activated carbon adsorption Purification device

Introduction of Activated Carbon Adsorption Equipment

Activated carbon adsorption and desorption waste gas treatment equipment (ACF) is developed and manufactured by utilizing the strong adsorption of activated carbon (fiber) to organic solvents. For organic waste gas with low concentration and high air volume, activated carbon adsorption equipment has very high purification efficiency.

The complete process flow of activated carbon adsorption and desorption waste gas treatment equipment is adsorption concentration-desorption regeneration-solvent separation and recovery. It consists of two or three activated carbon (fiber) adsorbents in parallel and a set of desorption and recovery devices. It has the advantages of mature technology, stable performance, strong adsorption capacity, recyclable raw materials, low exhaust emission concentration, safety and reliability.

II. Working Principle of Activated Carbon Adsorption and Desorption Equipment

Activated carbon adsorbing waste gas molecule: In the process of activated carbon activation, huge surface area and complex pore structure gradually formed. The surface area of activated carbon is mainly provided by micropore. Activated carbon adsorption can be divided into physical adsorption and chemical adsorption, and the adsorption process is carried out in these pore and surface.

The porous structure of activated carbon provides a large amount of surface area, which makes it very easy to absorb waste gas. Like magnetism, all molecules have mutual attraction. Because of this, a large number of molecules on the pore wall of activated carbon can generate strong gravity, so as to achieve the purpose of attracting the paint exhaust gas in the medium to the pore diameter, which is physical adsorption.

It must be pointed out that the molecular diameter of these adsorbed exhaust gases must be smaller than the pore size of activated carbon, so as to ensure that impurities are absorbed into the pore size. Activated carbon not only contains carbon, but also contains a small amount of oxygen and hydrogen in the form of chemical bonding and functional groups on its surface, such as carboxyl, hydroxyl, phenol, lactone, quinone, ether and so on.

These surfaces contain earth oxides or complexes which can react with the adsorbed substances and then combine with the adsorbed substances to aggregate on the surface of activated carbon. Finally, the treated exhaust gas is sucked by the back-end centrifugal fan to form negative pressure, which is discharged into the atmosphere safely and up to the standard from the 15 m chimney off the ground.
